Unable
Experimentation continued. After my first effort with concrete unit poerty (search for “ABUSED” if you want to read that one), I here now present my first theatrical: Unable.
In many ways inspired and defined by both ancient Greek pieces and contemporary metal music, the “Unable” is a four piece theatrical taking place in a court room where the prosecuted party is brought before justice for his lack of emotions. His ex girlfriends are suing him for being unable to love them back as must as they love him.
The four parts that make up the theatrical are the prosecution, the prosecuted individual and his lawyer and the judge. You will notice that all four individuals have their own specific pace and tempo, which differentiates the poem from other previous works. The judge is to the point with very short verses, the two lawyers are using more formal language and better formed sentences and the individual, when the time comes to make his closing statement, he uses different tempos at first when he’s calmly trying to explain himself and then abruptly changes pace when he realises that the chances are not in his favour.
I hope you will like this as much as I enjoyed writing it

You can find the Unable on the other side of the jump. Or click on the photo. Whichever comes more naturally!
