Wrath of Phlegyas

Composition of Phlegyas

A daughter raped,
A King enraged
A God satisfied,
respect that died.

Cathedral in flames,
not easing the pain,
Eternally cursed,
with eternity blessed.

This is the Wrath of Phlegyas.
The Anger, the Rage, the Hate, the Tears
The Wrath of Phlegyas

A noble King,
deprived of respect,
By an entity far supreme,
By a God that chose to have His Son,
Through the daughter of the noble King.

Enraged and angered, blindfolded by wrath,
The King laid down a dangerous path…

He fed the God’s cathedral to flames,
And stood and watched as it burnt
And prayed to the Gods that the lesson he taught them
Would finally by all be learnt.

This is the Wrath of Phlegyas.
The Anger, the Rage, the Hate, the Tears
The Wrath of Phlegyas

Disrespect to the Gods, and the will that they force
This could not be left unpaid,
Apollo himself riding his horse,
Came from Olympus down and he laid,
The revenge of the Gods and Olympus’ fury,
The King should pay for his deed
In eternity cursed, down into Hades
With Eternity blessed Indeed

In Hades forever, in the course of Time
Phlegyas was cursed to be,
And eternally cursed to watch as a rock
Was coming down at him.
Forever to suffer the fear of death
But never enjoy his own
Forever damned, he had lost it all
The King had lost his crown.

This is the Wrath of Phlegyas.
The Anger, the Rage, the Hate, the Tears
The Wrath of Phlegyas
